I'm a photo manipulation artist from Finland, I'm trying to work my way up and go towards my childhood dream to being an artist.
I have graduated from vocational school of visual arts in 11.2021. I mostly went to learn painting, but noticed half way through that wasn't really for me. I had tested Photoshop and Gimp earlier so I started to concentrate little by little more on what I could do with those. Later on, I found the term of ''photo manipulation'' and become inspired about it.

What is photo manipulation and how it differs from normal photo editing?
Photo editing and photo manipulating both involve changing your photos to better.
However, with photo editing you can fix the colors, contrast, exposure etc, it doesn't change the photo's original meaning or purpose. Photo editing involves basic adjustments that are still very important if you want to make your photos stand out or maybe get your photo printed out as a poster.
With photo manipulation, your limitation is only your imagination. It involves more advanced things such as removing objects or merging multiple photos into one and maybe making it realistic too with adding lights and shadows. With photo manipulation you can change the whole story behind the original photo, creating a new surreal scene or maybe stick with something more simple and add a loved one to a photo next to you.
